What You Will Do:

• Perform various quality inspections and preparations under supervision.

• Support the continuous improvement and all CORE and EH&S initiatives, including wearing required personal protective equipment.

• Operate powered industrial vehicles (PIVs)

• Refer difficulties to Supervisor or Team Leader.

• May be assigned to tasks not specifically listed within the scope and skill level of this job description in support of department objectives and to develop individual skills.

• Ability to perform field calls, sample prep activities, and alloy change quality checks under an approved trainer.

• The position requires ascending, descending stairs, standing for extended periods, bending, squatting, twisting, overhead reach, lifting up to 25 pounds, working at heights over 60' with harness, working in loud, bright areas, using metal processing equipment (i.e., saws, grinders, etc.) and looking through microscopes.

• On occasion you may be required to work hours outside of your typical shift.

• The position will work a schedule of Friday - Sunday (3x12) 7:00pm - 7:00am (5th shift).

Qualifications You Must Have:

• HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) with a minimum of 1-year relevant experience

• Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee's personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is $22.00 per hour; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
