Job description

The Senior Product Manager, Developer Ecosystem drives the growth, adoption, and operational success of the RAVE open platform and its digital services. Acting as the primary bridge between internal teams and third-party developers, this role ensures a seamless developer experience across the RAVE ecosystem. Positioned at the intersection of product, operations, and partner enablement, the role focuses on accelerating integrations, enabling partner success, and aligning platform capabilities with evolving developer and airline customer needs. Additionally, this position is responsible for ensuring that digital solutions are effectively deployed, adopted, and scaled across both developer partners and airline customers.
Core Responsibilities
  • Own the operational readiness and ongoing performance of the RAVE open platform
  • Act as the primary point of contact for 3rd-party developers building on the RAVE open platform
  • Support onboarding, integration, and ongoing collaboration with external partners and developers
  • Define and execute product strategies that support platform adoption, partner success, and ecosystem growth
  • Influence the RAVE product roadmap aligned with business goals and partner needs
  • Work closely with engineering and architecture teams to define platform capabilities, APIs, tools and integration frameworks
  • Translate partner and platform requirements into clear product specifications, user stories, and technical requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize features that enhance the developer experience and platform scalability
  • Oversee the deployment and scaling of digital revenue services, such as advertising and onboard payments
  • Work with commercial teams to align product capabilities with monetization strategies
  • Monitor performance metrics, usage, and revenue generation across digital services
  • Identify opportunities to expand and optimize digital offerings across airline customers
  • Gather and analyze feedback from partners and stakeholders to inform product improvements
  • Ensure alignment between internal teams and external developers on technical, functional, and commercial requirements
  • Communicate product plans, updates, and changes to internal and external stakeholders
  • Stay informed on industry trends related to platform ecosystems, developer tools, and cloud technologies
  • Build strong relationships with airline customers, developers, and ecosystem partners
  • Ensure partners have the tools, documentation, and support needed to succeed on the platform
  • Act as an escalation point for operational or integration issues
  • Identify risks related to integrations or partner dependencies and proactively develop mitigation strategies
  • Foster a collaborative and positive working environment across internal teams and external partners

Requirements
Core Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience in a related field
  • 6+ years of experience in Software Development or Product Management roles
  • Experience working with third-party developers, APIs, and platform ecosystems
  • Strong understanding of cloud technologies, including IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS
  • Experience with the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
  • Familiarity with API design, integration patterns, and developer platforms
  • Experience in the airline industry, connectivity (cellular/satellite), or in-flight entertainment is a plus
  • Knowledge of microservices architectures and modern deployment practice

Benefits
The starting pay range for this position is $110,000 - $125,000 per year however, the base pay offered may vary depending on the level of the position, skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location.
