Job description

The Cumberland River Quarry in Salem, Kentucky is currently recruiting for a Haul Truck Operator. Only on-line applicants will be considered / evaluated. Haul Truck Operator-Classification Description:Complete a thorough pre shift inspection and then walk the trainer through the pre shift performed.Signed off on both 50 and 100-ton Haul Trucks.Signed off on Water Truck.Competent understanding of quarry layout and stockpiles.Ability to identify different size rock and different stockpile locations.Inspect and identify hazards with work area (i.e. Stockpiles, Haul Roads, Pit)Competency and understanding of loading barges on fixed and floating docks.Competency and skillfulness of hauling to Rip Rap Plant.Acknowledgment of all safety standards and operating procedures for each area. Complete job duties to the satisfaction of the supervisor.Maintain a good attendance record, have a good attitude towards the job, be responsible for minimal to no property damage incidents. (All incidents will be subject to review by management)Capable and willing to train newly assigned Trucks Drivers per CRQ guidelines.Basic Requirements:Do you have the ability and desire to work 12-hour shifts?Do you have the willingness and flexibility to work weekend or overtime as needed?Do you have the ability to do manual labor including lifting items as heavy as 50 pounds?Do you have the ability and desire to work during inclement conditions including extreme heat and cold?Do you have the ability to climb ladders, stairs, and preform repetitive bending and stooping when required?
