Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.
This is a first shif position working a 9/80 work schedule with every other Friday off. Flexible start time between 6am and 7:30am

We are seeking a strong Technician with expertise in setting up and conducting testing of production and field return assemblies.
Responsibilities:
Sets up test apparatus and conducts tests of assemblies and units following methods, procedures, standards, and sequences.
Performs troubleshooting of sub-assemblies to component level, diagnoses deficiencies and recommends rework where necessary, with a written Non-Conformance and Disposition outlining clear rework instructions.
Corrects malfunctions by making adjustments.
Uses hand and small power tools, and various measuring and testing devices in performing job duties.

Required Skills and Education
- High School Diploma OR GED
- Minimum 2 years work experience in a test environment
- Experience with test equipment (spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, power meters, oscilloscopes and multi meters.) and skilled in troubleshooting and diagnosing module deficiencies
- Ability to follow test specifications, test procedures and written instructions in order to perform a variety of routine, standard tests which require reading, interpreting and verifying specifications using test stand setups
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, diagrams, hardware specifications, schematics, or written work instructions
- Working knowledge of electronic theory and components.
- Must be able to lift 20-30lbs

- 2-4 years work experience in a test environment
- Experience in RF testing
- Effective communication and teamwork with peers and cross functional departments
