Range Control Officers are professionals responsible for managing and overseeing the safe operation of firing ranges, training areas, or test ranges, often within military or law enforcement contexts. Their duties include scheduling range usage, enforcing safety protocols, coordinating with units or organizations, and inspecting ranges for hazards. They ensure compliance with all regulations, maintain range records, and respond to incidents or emergencies. Range Control Officers play a crucial role in maintaining safety and efficiency during training exercises or weapons testing.
