As an Assistant Store Manager in one of our thrift stores, you can proudly tell your family and friends that you help nurture hope, healing, and resilience in Idaho’s youth by being part of the leadership of a team that collects, sorts, stocks, and sells donated items; the profits of which go to fund our Programs and Services and make them accessible to all youth who need those services in Idaho.

Must Haves:

  • Be at least 18 years or older
  • Be enrolled in High School or possess High School diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of two years’ supervisory experience in retail or similar industry
  • Have strong customer service skills, be able to WOW our customers!

Our Assistant Managers:

  • Assist the Store Manager in general aspects of planning, development, and administration of thrift store operations
  • Oversee and facilitate receiving and processing of donated items, maintaining appropriate standards of cleanliness and organization of listing and processing areas
  • Assists with compiling daily sales and makes bank deposits.

As a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit, the Idaho Youth Ranch is a qualifying employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PLSF) program. The PLSF offers student loan forgiveness on qualifying loans under specific conditions. Speak with your loan provider for more information.
