Responsibilities

Job Duties:

  • Follow all safety and security instructions, both internal and external (i.e., regulations from airlines).
  • Manage your staff to provide excellent customer service.
  • Maintain an understanding of and adhere to all applicable federal, state, airport, and company regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Build and maintain good relations with customers and airport authorities, report any irregularities, and take appropriate action.
  • Participate and contribute to both internal and customer meetings, conduct daily shift briefings and safety meetings, and perform daily/weekly audits.
  • Wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) appropriate for the job.
  • As a ramp Lead Agent, you will guide airplanes to the gate, lift, load, unload, and transport passenger bags to/from aircraft, and drive and/or operate ground equipment, such as tow tractors, tow bars, belt loaders, container loaders, baggage tugs, and more.
  • Must be physically able to perform the job's essential duties, including standing, lifting, bending, stooping, walking, crawling, pushing, and pulling for extended periods.
  • Push, pull, lift, and load up to 70 pounds (32kg) regularly. Work outside in all types of weather and around jet machinery noises.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • You must be able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge and experience as a RAMP LEAD about the operation of Ground Service Equipment is required
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills are a must.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
  • You should have a flexible work schedule and be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • You should be eligible to obtain the necessary credentials and clearances.
  • You should possess/maintain a valid state driver's license and other FAA/Airport required identification/seals or authorizations.
  • Basic computer literacy is preferred.
