Sushi | Full Service | High Volume | Fast Paced

Sea Story Sushi is looking for experienced, energetic, and hospitality-driven Servers to join our team.

Inspired by the high-energy dining scenes of Las Vegas and New York City, Sea Story is a premium, full-service, all-you-can-eat Asian dining experience featuring sushi,, hibachi, ramen, yakitori, appetizers, desserts, cocktails, sake, and more.

This is not a slow-paced serving position. Our restaurant operates at a high volume with fast table turns, large sections, extensive menu knowledge, and constant guest interaction. We are looking for servers who can move quickly, stay organized, communicate clearly, and provide excellent hospitality even during our busiest services.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • Minimum 1 year of proven serving experience in a high-volume restaurant, Asian restaurant, sushi restaurant, or comparable full-service concept
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to provide required employment verification documentation
  • Must be proficient with Toast POS and/or Toast handheld ordering systems
  • Comfortable managing a fast-paced, high-volume section while maintaining accuracy and strong guest service
  • Strong knowledge of full-service restaurant standards and proper steps of service
  • Ability to learn and confidently explain an extensive menu including sushi, hibachi, ramen, yakitori, sauces, ingredients, and allergens
  • Ability to accurately enter orders, modifications, allergies, and special requests
  • Strong communication skills with guests, management, kitchen, sushi bar, hosts, bussers, and fellow servers
  • Ability to multitask and remain composed during high-volume rushes
  • Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
  • Positive, professional attitude and team-first mentality
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality are required
  • Must maintain a clean, professional appearance
  • Must be able to stand and move throughout the restaurant for extended periods and safely carry trays, plates, and beverages
