The Role

Entegris is currently seeking atechnical Managerto join ourNew Product Developmentteam. This position will be based in ourBurnet TXfacilityand is anin-persononsite position.

In this role, you willlead a teamthatis responsible fortesting and validating new ALD and CVDproducts. Crucial testing includesoptimizingprecursor deliveryperformancewithvarious equipment configurations. Compatibility of the precursor chemicals with various hardware components and impurity transport profiles are also critical aspects to successful development cycles.

WhatYou'llDo

  • Lead a motivated group of New Product Development engineers and scientists,creating first of a kind DoE's,oversee data collection and storage, review and interpret analytical data sets, prepare and review high quality internal and external presentations,make technical recommendations based upon the results gatheredand submit IP as needed

  • Lead and coordinate the team's workwitha range of internaland externalcustomers

  • Design and oversee operationof precursor delivery test equipmentincluding in-situ monitoring, sample collection, and characterization

  • Operation,design, and CIPof materials of compatibilitytest equipment including samplecollection,analysis,and characterization as it relates tostabilityand compatibilityofkeycomponent materials

  • Post service examination of vesselsutilized in various applications, collation of data, identify trends and make recommendations on hardware designs based upon the results

WhatWeSeek

  • MS or PhDinChemical Engineering, Materials Science or Chemistry or equivalent field with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience with CVD/ALD precursor applications

  • Successfulmanagerialexperience is also required

  • Demonstratedworkingunderstanding of vapor pressure andsolid deliveryas it relates tosemiconductor CVD/ALD equipment design andperformance

  • Working knowledgeof characterization techniques includingIR spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy, NMR spectroscopy, ICP/MS, gas chromatography,microscopy, surface analysisare essential. Knowledge of metalcorrosionmechanisms ispreferred.

  • Demonstrated background and knowledge configuring, designing, and maintaining CVD/ALD precursor testequipment.

  • Ability totake advanced experimental learning and driveimprovements as related toCVD/ALD precursor testing
