The Opportunity: We are looking for an innovative, results-drivenMechanic / Technician,to take ownership of Truck and Trailer Pre / Post-Trip Equipment Inspections, a critical function in our daily operations. Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for performing in-depth detail oriented inspections, and assisting with various other maintenance procedures on our fleet of RAM 5500 Trucks and Custom Built Trailers in order to minimize unscheduled downtime and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.

  • Perform:
    - Preventive Maintenance Inspections (PMI)and services on specialized trailers, and equipment.
    - Test and inspect vehicles after repair to ensure proper functionality and safe operation.
    - Utilize all tools of the trade, including diagnostic equipment, hydraulic lifts, air tools, and power tools effectively and safely.


  • Conduct:
    Truck and Trailer diagnostics
    to identify mechanical or electrical issues.
  • Execute Repairs on:
    Disc / Drum Brakes, Suspension Components, 12V Electrical Systems, Hydraulics, and General Trailer Systems.
  • Complete Detailed and Accurate:
    Work Orders
    using Fleetio Fleet Management Software.
  • Maintain:
    A Safe, Clean, and Organized Shop Environment, adhering to all DOT and OSHA safety guidelines.


Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Mechanic / Technician in a shop environment .
  • Demonstrated experience in Diagnostic and Repair Procedures.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Can perform the physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
