Job Title:
Material Handler II
Job Description:
Our site in Aurora is seeking a 1st Shift Material Handler II to join our team. An excellent career opportunity for qualified individuals, especially those with Material Handling (Warehouse) experience. In this role the successful candidate will safely complete the duties of production, shipping, receiving, preventative maintenance and improvement teams for PADs and other products, as assigned. Specific duties include polishing pad manufacturing, packaging, computer entry and various other production/warehousing activities.
The key responsibilities of the Operations Associate are:
  • Produce, package, and prepare products for shipment.
  • Receive raw material and containers, utilizing fork trucks and hand trucks.
  • Perform required data entry and record keeping.
  • Maintain safe and clean working environment.
  • Immediately address any deviation to PACE values, procedures, policies, etc.
  • Participate in continuous improvement teams and activities.
  • Comply with plant safety initiatives.
  • Perform miscellaneous production and warehouse related tasks (for example: support with cycle count, housekeeping, inventory, incident investigation)
Required Qualifications:
  • Technical - Knowledge of manufacturing equipment and materials handling.
  • Behavioral - Validated leadership ability and team building skills.
  • Computer - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SAP, Lotus Notes; experienced in ERP systems data entry.
  • Education - High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree in a technical field preferred.
  • Experience - 2 to 3 years of production or warehousing experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Standup Forklift driving experience preferred.
  • Physical - Requires manual lifting of up to 40 lbs., as needed.

Opening for 1st Shift:
  • Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm (overtime may be required, as per business needs)
  • Weekend shifts will vary when needed.
  • We care about cleanliness, and the use of PPE. PPE includes - steel toe shoes (provided by us), safety glasses. Additional PPE required for certain job functions, such as full-face mask.
