Position Purpose

As our Financial Analyst I, you will prepare, reconcile, and analyze financial information while supporting financial reporting, budgeting, and business decision-making. This role is responsible for performing financial analysis, identifying trends and variances, improving accounting processes, and providing accurate financial information to support management review and strategic planning.

Perform account reconciliations and financial analyses
Provide financial analysis and support to business partners
Recommend and implement accounting process improvements
Develop and enhance accounting procedures and controls
Perform special projects and ad hoc analyses
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve accounting process issues
Analyze financial reports, variances, and anomalies
Research and resolve financial discrepancies
Support budgeting and forecasting activities
Develop spreadsheets, reports, and financial projections
Prepare financial information for management review and decision-making
May provide work direction, training, and development support to team members


Qualifications

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
Three (3+) years of related accounting or financial analysis experience
Equivalent combination of education and experience considered
Experience with SAP or ERP systems


Required Knowledge

Financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements
Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Accounting practices, methods, and procedures
Financial analysis and reporting techniques
Technical accounting and financial reporting principles
Microsoft Office Suite applications
Accounting and financial software systems

Ability to import large volumes of data from multiple sources
Ability to convert data into usable Excel formats
Experience using VLOOKUP functions and Pivot Tables preferred
