What You’ll Do

  • Lead and integrate Logistics Planning, Demand Planning, Performance Management, and Customer Service into a cohesive, high-performing function, fostering a data-driven culture and mentoring leaders to achieve measurable business outcomes.
  • Own and refine the end-to-end demand planning process, including volume forecasting, allocation planning, and scenario modeling, driving strategic alignment and enhancing forecast accuracy through advanced analytics and trend analysis.
  • Oversee comprehensive vehicle flow planning and network design across various transportation modes, developing and implementing capacity strategies to optimize throughput, reduce dwell time, improve asset utilization, and proactively mitigate supply disruptions.
  • Define and govern enterprise-wide Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), leading the development of sophisticated reporting dashboards to provide senior leadership with executive-level data insights and actionable intelligence.
  • Ensure a proactive, high-quality experience for all internal and external accounts, serving as the primary interface between operational teams, supply chain partners, sales, and clients to align priorities and foster strong relationships.
  • Champion the adoption of digital tools, automation, and predictive analytics to standardize processes while maintaining the flexibility required for diverse customer needs.
  • Provide in-depth performance trend analysis and data-driven recommendations to support strategic and operational adjustments.
  • Collaborate extensively with Operations, Supply Chain, and Business Development teams to ensure seamless process integration and achieve shared objectives.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements across all departmental operations.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and skill development within the team, nurturing talent and expertise.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 10-15 years of direct experience in logistics, demand planning, supply chain, network optimization, customer service, or performance management.
  • Experience managing large-scale accounts.
  • Experience in high-volume vehicle transportation logistics, planning analytics, or equivalent high-volume supply chain environments.
  • Deep experience with transportation networks including rail, truck, and port operations.
  • 4-7 years of supervisory experience.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and complex planning organizations.
  • Strong background in forecasting, S&OP / IBP processes, and data analytics.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools.
  • Strategic thinking with strong execution discipline.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and influencing capabilities.
  • Customer Service mindset with an ability to align internal priorities with client targets.
