A successful Project Manager at Lunda will be involved in all areas of project management, including project planning of cost, time, field staffing, equipment, safety, and contract administration. **General Responsibilities and Duties*** Lead role in project planning, budgeting, and managing resources.* Perform project accounting functions including cost tracking, cost projections and minimizing financial risk on projects.* Ensure that construction operations progress according to schedule and communicate schedule changes to appropriate parties.* Develop project work plans, convey plans to field staff, monitor implementation and adjust when necessary.* Communicate effectively with owners, crews, subcontractors, and vendors.* Coordination of all parties involved with the projects, including the owner, architect, consultants, contractors, and sub-contractors.* Monitor and report the progress of the construction activities and hold progress meetings with clients and stake holders.* Ensure construction operations are completed in accordance with fiscal control, quality, and safety standards.* Regular visits to active projects sites.* Maintain project document controls.* Participation in site safety audits and active role in development of site-specific safety plans.**REQUIREMENTS:*** Bachelorโ€™s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.* Ability to travel throughout the Upper Midwest is required.* Five (5) or more years of relevant project management experience in the Heavy Civil Field preferred.* Railroad Bridge construction experience, including working directly with Railroad Company representatives preferred.* Ability to work under pressure.* Effective time management skills and logical decision-making ability.* Ability to read and understand contract plans and specifications.* Must have strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team.* Excellent written and oral communication is necessary.* Ability to collaborate with personnel at all levels, both internal and external customers.**OUR MISSION**We build critical infrastructure that creates a better world.**OUR VISION**We strive to be the preeminent full-service civil, building, and specialty contractor by delivering innovative, transformative projects through world-class execution.
