Job description

Pacific Rail Services is seeking applicants for the Rail Yard Truck Mechanic position to join our ever-growing team working at the BNSF Alliance, TX Rail Terminal in a recession proof industry!   Automotive and Diesel Mechanic experience is required.  
APPLICANTS MUST currently live within a 45 minute commute of Haslet, TX. OUT OF AREA candidates and/or those requiring a relocation will NOT be considered.

Shift:
  • Wednesday through Sunday
  • 2pm to midnight (10 hr shifts)

Pay: $21 - $24/hr to start  (Commensurate with experience)

Candidates:
  • Should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the mechanical field and be preventative maintenance minded.
  • Must have own tools (Yearly tool allowance provided).
  • Must have experience and knowledge working with Air, Electrical, Hydraulic, and Diesel systems and components.
  • Will need a valid driver's license.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair hostler fleet, forklifts, and company vehicles.
  • Maintain Hostler Fleet.
  • Welding, fabricating.
  • Working on Electrical components.
  • Routine maintenance.
  • Assist in other areas as needed by managers.
