- Participate in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively uphold the CMC Safety Culture
- Effectively communicate with others about possible production issues, concerns, and needs
- Responsible for daily housekeeping duties including but not limited to immediate work area
- Troubleshoot work related problems using job knowledge, experience, and by communicating with others
- Work safely to prevent on the job injuries by always following safety rules and regulations including proper wearing of company PPE
- Operate mobile equipment such as Forklifts, overhead cranes, etc
- Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners
- Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders in appropriate shipping/holding area
- Assist in filling work/shipping orders
- Ensure orders and material movements are processed accurately and on time to support production and shipping schedules
- Assist in scanning/ loading trucks and rail when assistance is needed.
- Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment with strong work ethic, attention to detail, and organizational skills
- Ability to work with exposure to extreme temperatures, chemicals, dust fumes and mists, uneven surfaces, loud noise, elevated work areas, and confined spaces
- Demonstrate dependability in attendance, work completions, and flexibility to meet business needs
- Must be able to learn quickly and multitask
- Some overtime will be required
- Willingness to work a rotating shift, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Ability to stand for duration of a shift, up to 12 hours; frequent physical activity such as walking, climbing stairs or reaching to work with equipment throughout the entire shift
- Able and willing to cross train as required
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
