What You'll Do
  • Participate in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively uphold the CMC Safety Culture
  • Effectively communicate with others about possible production issues, concerns, and needs
  • Responsible for daily housekeeping duties including but not limited to immediate work area
  • Troubleshoot work related problems using job knowledge, experience, and by communicating with others
  • Work safely to prevent on the job injuries by always following safety rules and regulations including proper wearing of company PPE
  • Operate mobile equipment such as Forklifts, overhead cranes, etc
  • Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners
  • Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders in appropriate shipping/holding area
  • Assist in filling work/shipping orders
  • Ensure orders and material movements are processed accurately and on time to support production and shipping schedules
  • Assist in scanning/ loading trucks and rail when assistance is needed.
What You'll Need
  • Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment with strong work ethic, attention to detail, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work with exposure to extreme temperatures, chemicals, dust fumes and mists, uneven surfaces, loud noise, elevated work areas, and confined spaces
  • Demonstrate dependability in attendance, work completions, and flexibility to meet business needs
  • Must be able to learn quickly and multitask
  • Some overtime will be required
  • Willingness to work a rotating shift, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
  • Ability to operate a forklift
  • Ability to stand for duration of a shift, up to 12 hours; frequent physical activity such as walking, climbing stairs or reaching to work with equipment throughout the entire shift
  • Able and willing to cross train as required
