 What You Will Do:

  • Provide daily support to the manufacturing processes used to produce parts for turbine generators.
  • Work together with MEs to capture processes to manufacture new generators as well as service by creating and issuing detailed work instructions to factory floor operations.
  • Work with the manufacturing team to improve safety, improve quality, reduce cycle times, and reduce manufacturing costs.
  • Assist the maintenance team with troubleshooting process equipment. Design and procure tooling as needed to support the manufacturing processes.
  • Identify and evaluate the needs for new equipment and new manufacturing processes to enhance competitiveness.
  • Support day-to-day tactical support of area responsible for the stator coil manufacturing. 
  • Support quality and ability to drive process improvements will be an integral part of the success
  • Challenge the status quo and look for new, innovative ways to manufacture our customer products.

  • What You Will Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Knowledgeable in 3D CAD software and Microsoft Office.
  • Min. 2 yrs. Experience in Manufacturing & shop floor
  • Excellent written and verbal communications.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to a changing work environment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.

Pay Range: $67K to $80K/annum

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.

Work Requirements:

This role is considered an on-site position located in Fort Payne, Alabama

  • You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours. 
  • Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs. 

Travel requirements: Due to the nature of the work, no travel is required.
