We are seeking a Cloud Programmer to join our team. The job location is Albany, NY, and this is a hybrid position, 50% onsite and 50% remote.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, enhance, and maintain chatbot and virtual agent solutions built on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Build and support conversational AI applications using Google Dialogflow and related technologies.
  • Develop and implement Generative AI agents and solutions leveraging modern AI frameworks and services.
  • Design and implement Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and prompt engineering strategies.
  • Support existing applications, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Maintain high‑quality, readable, and well‑documented code.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Contribute to infrastructure automation and CI/CD processes using Terraform and Git‑based repositories.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years related experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience developing chatbots or conversational AI solutions using Google Dialogflow or similar technologies.
  • Experience building Generative AI applications and AI agents.
  • Strong understanding of Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) concepts and implementations.
  • Experience with prompt engineering and prompt optimization techniques.
  • Proficiency in Python application development.
  • Experience using source control systems such as Git, GitHub, or GitLab.
  • Experience developing and maintaining infrastructure‑as‑code solutions using Terraform.
  • Ability to write and maintain clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working directly with business stakeholders and customers.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Google Cloud certifications.
  • Experience with Dialogflow CX, Conversational Agents, and Playbooks.
  • Experience working with various Generative AI platforms and services.
  • Experience with Looker reporting and LookML.
  • Experience designing and deploying cloud‑native applications.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
