NWI Radon and Environmental, LLC is actively adding to our amazing team of very talented people to help us continue to our mission of being the consumer choice in radon services. This position is based out of Crown Point and services all of NWI and the Greater South Bend area.
Primary Objective of Position: Install radon mitigation systems into existing homes following a proven strategy that you will learn in training. Ensure complete customer satisfaction upon completion of work.
Tasks and Responsibilities: This position requires a diverse skill set, however, below are the basic job requirements.
  • Complete all required training courses and exams for the National Radon Proficiency Program (NRPP) and State of Indiana to obtain a primary radon measurement license
  • In conjunction with the owner of business and other employees, perform installations of radon mitigation and other complementary environmental products in homes and other structures throughout greater NWI
  • All installations to be completed following system designs that meet or exceed AARST/ANSI installation requirements
  • Be physically capable of SAFELY completing tasks including, but not limited to: carrying and climbing ladders, accessing crawlspaces and attics, climbing to and walking on roofs, etc.
  • Comfort with or ability to learn basic electrical skills as it relates to installation requirements
  • Ability to use concrete coring tools, fit PVC piping, and use other miscellaneous power tools
  • Adherence to all NWI Radon & Environmental, National Radon Defense, NRPP, and State of Indiana brand standards, operating standards, and licensing standards
  • Self-motivated, good communication skills, and ability to interact well with clients
  • Perform all duties and expectations with a positive attitude and accommodating manner
  • Always maintain customer satisfaction standards before, during, and after all client interactions and installations
  • Must complete company paid/reimbursed initial and continuing education as required
  • Other duties as assigned
