Job description

Title:ย Radon Mitigation Installation Professional

Reports To: Tim and Laura James, owners of NWI Radon & Environmental

Service Area: The Greater Northwest Indiana and Greater South Bendย area, predominately encompassing Fulton, Jasper, Lake, LaPorte, Marshall, Newton, Porter, Pulaski, St. Joseph, and Starke Counties.

Purpose of Position: First and foremost, to educate clients about the importance of radon testing and the benefits of radon mitigation. Additionally, to provide unmatched solutions to each clientโ€™s radon issues by installing the best radon mitigation systems possible while simultaneously delivering unparalleled customer service. Lastly, to become a consummate and knowledgeable radon mitigation and environmental professional, being able to offer and install our full line of product offerings and doing so with the upmost integrity and professionalism.ย 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Complete all required training courses and exams for the National Radon Proficiency Program (NRPP) and State of Indiana to obtain a primary radon measurement license
  • In conjunction with the owner of business and other employees, perform installations of radon mitigation and other complementary environmental products in homes and other structures throughout greater NWI
  • On-site marketingย to increase sales revenue on each installation
  • Neighborhood marketingย to increase sales revenue on each installation
  • Optimize down timeย to network and promote the business
  • Provide additional technical and non-technical assistance as needed
  • Perform all duties and expectations with a positive attitude and accommodating manner
  • Dress code and professionalism standards must always be followed
  • Always maintain customer satisfaction standards before, during, and after all client interactions and installations
  • Responsible for all company issued computers, equipment, tools, and vehiclesย 
  • Be available for communication and follow up with clients, Realtors, office staff, other team members, and superiors with a sense of urgency
  • No unscheduled absences
  • Adherence to all confidentiality and privacy terms and conditions as established in further documents
  • Adherence to all NWI Radon & Environmental and National Radon Defense brand standards, operating standards, and licensing standards
  • Adherence to all NRPP and State of Indiana operating standards and licensing standards
  • Adherence to common safety guidelines regarding the use of ladders, how to access a roof, etc.
  • Be physically capable of tasks including, but not limited to: carrying and climbing ladders, accessing crawlspaces and attics, climbing to and walking on roofs, etc.
  • Minimum qualifications within 60 days: become a licensed primary radon measurement professional
  • Must complete company paid/reimbursed initial and continuing education as required
  • Periodically attend marketing or networking events to help promote the team and business
  • Other duties as assigned

Compensation:ย 

  • Hourly base wage based on experience
  • Bonus/incentive pay availableย 
  • Company vehicle will be provided to the employee to take to each job siteย 
  • All tools and equipment needed to perform this job will be provided by the employer
