A typical day for a Radon Mitigation professional involves traveling to residential or commercial sites to assess radon levels, developing a mitigation plan, and installing or servicing mitigation systems such as sub-slab depressurization units. You may work independently or as part of a small team, interacting directly with property owners to explain test results and system operations. Daily tasks also include monitoring system performance, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with local and federal safety standards. This hands-on role often provides a mix of indoor and outdoor work in a variety of settings, and can offer opportunities for advancement into supervisory or inspection positions as you gain experience.
