About the Opportunity:

This company is a well-established building automation integrator, and they are seeking a talented Controls Engineer to join their team in Southern New Jersey. This position is ideal for a controls professional who enjoys a blend of design work, field coordination, and cross-department collaboration. Projects span HVAC, lighting, and security systems across commercial, institutional, and government environments.

  • Location:New Jeresey(Supporting Southern NJ & Philadelphia)
  • Status: Full-Time | Office-Based with Site Visits
Ideal Candidate:
  • 3+ years of experience as a Controls Engineer, BAS Designer, or similar role
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or Visio for control system layouts
  • Hands-on experience with Tridium graphics and programming tools
  • Ability to write Sequences of Operation and develop Bills of Materials
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to modify existing BAS programs
  • Comfortable working directly with internal teams and end users to define project needs
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop BAS control architecture for new and retrofit projects
  • Create, update, and support Tridium-based user interfaces
  • Order materials and coordinate delivery schedules with vendors
  • Provide technical documentation and support for field technicians
  • Conduct occasional site walk-throughs to validate scope and assess system conditions
  • Work closely with project managers, technicians, and programmers to ensure project success
