Job Summary
The School of Nursing and Health Science seeks dynamic Radiologic Science Clinical Instructional Assistant to provide teaching and evaluations for radiologic sciences students in practice settings and simulated settings.
Responsibilities
Responsibilites -
- Supervises clinical/laboratory practice experiences.
-Evaluates student clinical performance and achievement of required competencies.
-Adhere to the School of Nursing and Health Sciences and the Department of Radiologic Sciences guidelines/protocols/policies.
-Attendance at scheduled Department meetings as needed.
-Travel to various clinical facilities.
-Occasionally assists with classroom instruction or instructional activities as needed.
-This is considered a Position of Trust.
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
- Associate degree in Radiologic Sciences.
Other Required Qualifications
- Holds American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) current registration in radiography
- Must be in good standing with the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT)
- Current health care provider CPR certification and immunizations.
- Must possess a current valid drivers license.
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as a radiographer.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Experience
- Baccalaureate degree.
- Additional modality credentialing.
Proposed Salary
$35.00 per hour with Associate degree.
$40.00 per hour with Baccalaureate degree.
$45.00 per hour with Masters degree.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
ABILITIES
- Ability to interact effectively with diverse groups of students.
SKILLS
- Excellent oral and communication skills.
