Job description

Position Overview We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Certified Radiology Technologist (CRT) to provide radiologic services within correctional healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic X-rays ordered by medical providers while maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to all safety and compliance standards. The candidate must be experienced in various radiographic techniques and proficient in the use of digital radiography equipment.

Key Responsibilities Perform high-quality diagnostic X-rays as ordered by authorized medical providers Operate and maintain digital radiology equipment in accordance with established protocols Ensure patient safety and proper positioning during imaging procedures Maintain accurate documentation, imaging records, and reports Follow radiation safety guidelines and infection control procedures Collaborate with healthcare staff to support patient care services Travel between assigned correctional facilities as needed Requirements Minimum Requirements Current, valid, and unrestricted Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certification issued by the Arizona Medical Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners Current, valid, and unrestricted certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Completed Primary Source Verifications (PSVs) from: Arizona Department of Health Services American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Current fit testing clearance for N95 particulate respirators Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning and imaging techniques Experience using digital X-ray systems Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in a correctional healthcare environment Ability to travel between assigned facilities as required Required Supporting Documentation Candidates must provide copies of the following: Arizona CRT certification ARRT certification Completed PSV documents Current N95 fit testing documentation
