Radio testing is the process of evaluating and verifying the performance, safety, and regulatory compliance of radio devices, such as wireless transmitters and receivers. This testing ensures that devices operate within specified frequency bands, power limits, and technical standards set by regulatory bodies like the FCC or CE. Radio testing also checks for issues like interference, signal quality, and electromagnetic compatibility to prevent disruptions with other electronic equipment. It is essential for devices like smartphones, Wi-Fi routers, and IoT devices before they can be marketed or used.

Professionals in Radio Testing often encounter challenges such as dealing with signal interference, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and troubleshooting new wireless technologies. These challenges can be managed by staying up-to-date with the latest testing tools, maintaining strong documentation practices, and collaborating closely with engineering and compliance teams.
