Our people division is growing, and we are looking for a Radio Communications Technician to join our team at Goldstrike Underground. The position involves installing and maintaining complex radio communications equipment, dispatch equipment, GPS systems and related operations technology systems in support of.

Responsibilities:

  • Learn to install, maintain and repair digital trunked 2-way radio systems
  • Learn to operate a volt-ohm-meter.
  • Learn to install, test and maintain mobile data and truck tracking systems such as Hexagon Jigsaw dispatch systems.
  • Learn to operate a digital wattmeter.
  • Learn to install, test and maintain X-M satellite Radio System.
  • Operate a computer system for data management and report generation.
  • Operate a 2-way radio service monitor.
  • Learn to install, test and maintain microwave and telemetry equipment.
  • Learn to install and maintain public address systems (mobile and fixed).
  • Comply with state and federal health and safety regulations, company policies and procedures, and the company's environmental compliance policy.
  • The above duties and responsibilities are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all-inclusive.

Qualifications:

  • Proven safety record required
  • The ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role required
  • Excellent attendance record required
  • Ability to schedule and prioritize workload required
  • Demonstrate ability to perform the essential function of the job required
  • Previous experience with commercial digital 2-way radio equipment preferred
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
