Job Summary

Programming and Music Student Assistant assists staff with Titan Radio's programming schedule and music content, including TR2. Coordinate with DJs, curate playlists, and support initiatives that shape Titan Radio's sound.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist staff with DJ schedules and programming blocks each semester
  • Assist staff with Onboard new DJs and handle ongoing communication
  • Assist staff with the automation system and on-air traffic logs
  • Curate and update TR2 playlists and featured content
  • Monitor programming quality and assist with special shows
  • Collaborate with social media staff to promote standout content
  • Review music submissions and update playlists as time allows
  • Assist staff with occasional listener engagement efforts and music initiatives
  • Assist staff in coordinating with the Tech Director on technical issues when needed
  • Assist staff with TR2 webpage and programming documentation
  • Assist staff with reports and contribute to semester-end wrap-up
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Ability to learn and perform assigned work; follow oral instructions; work cooperatively with faculty, staff, and other students; communicate effectively with all levels; and read and write English at a level appropriate to the position.

Required Qualifications

  • Current student at CSUF and is enrolled/registered (fees paid) in a current regular semester as a new or continuing student.
  • Student who has completed the prior semester (has not graduated), or who is registered for the subsequent semester.
  • In good academic standing (not on academic probation, continued probation, academic dismissal).
  • Student who is authorized to work in the United States and can provide employment eligibility documents.
