Role Overview

As a Radiation Therapist, you are responsible for delivering efficient, effective, and high-quality radiation treatment within a clinical setting, providing the highest quality of care to our patients and doing your #lifesbestwork.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake radiation therapy treatment responsibilities and associated duties.
  • Promote and contribute to an effective multidisciplinary team at the relevant center and across the practice.
  • Responsible for the correct administration of all radiation therapy processes and procedures.
  • Ensure all administration and documentation requirements are initiated and completed in a professional and timely manner.
  • Ensure established patient care standards are maintained.
  • Treat all patients and their caregivers with respect and equality.
  • Maintain confidentiality on all issues.
  • Liaise with members of the health care team in the planning and delivery of patient services.
  • Participate as an active and effective member of a team.
  • Partner collaboratively with colleagues.
  • Participate in team meetings and activities.
Qualifications
  • Registration as a Radiation Therapist with ARRT and eligible for applicable state licenses.
  • Strong empathy, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated technical competency in all areas of radiation therapy at an appropriate level, including comprehensive knowledge of contemporary radiation therapy modalities and techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in an effective team environment.
  • Strong knowledge of radiation therapy, radiation therapy physics, and radiation biology and health physics, along with associated allied healthcare services.
