Job Description:

TheSystems Engineeris asenior-level position responsible for the operations, maintenance, and supportofrapiddeploymentradar systems. This role requires technicalexpertisein system inspection, servicing, repair, and deployment, both domestically and internationally. The technician willassistin transitioningcapabilities to permanent international work locations or demobilizing and redeploying equipment. Additionally, the position provides subject matterexpertisefor current and future program equipment challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate,maintain, and administer expeditionaryradar systems.
  • Inspect, service, and repairsystems up to the depot level.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and operating system issues.
  • Install, initialize, andoperateequipment at domestic and international work locations.
  • Assistin transitioningcapabilities to permanent international sites or demobilizing and redeploying equipment.
  • Provide subject matter expert analysis for program equipment challenges.
  • Document and track support calls using ticketing systems.

Required Qualifications:

  • Current or ability to obtain aDoWSECRET Clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree or four years ofequivalent military/technical training inradio frequency, electronics, orradars.
  • Travel - up to 50%
  • Four (4) years of relevant experience or combined education performing administration, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and employmentofCounterFireTargetAcquisition or Ground/Air Defense radar systems, or similar systems.
  • Flexibility to travel overseas asrequired.
  • Proficiencyin diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware, software, and operating system issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Lightweight Counter Mortar Radar (LCMR)Systems
  • SAAB Giraffe1X
  • Leonardo Multi-MissionHemispheric Radar
  • Graduate of amilitaryradarrepaircourse, with advanced radar repair coursespreferred.
  • Proficiencyin using ticketing systems to document and track support calls.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively under minimal supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally, diplomatically, and tactfully across all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to work as part of a cohesive team whilemaintaininga positive attitude.
  • Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Windows operating systems and office automation software, including Microsoft Office and SharePoint.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must beable to obtain a U.S. GovernmentDoWSECRET Personnel Security Clearance.
  • Must beimmediatelyeligible for, and able to obtain,aTOP SECRET Security Clearance.

Travel and Medical Requirements

The(Systems Engineer) Rapid Deployment Radar Field Service Representative (FSR)must be prepared to travel to both domestic and international work locations, including high-threat and austere environments, as necessary to support the inspection, maintenance, and quality assurance ofoperations.

Additionally, candidates must be able to obtain aClass I worldwide medical clearanceto ensure they are medically qualified to work in all global locations, including those with challenging conditions.

The likely salary range for this position is $83,927 - $113,549. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
