Your Role and Responsibilities

• Utilize both radiographic and CT techniques to gather high-quality diagnostic images for evaluation by physicians
• Engage with radiologists and the wider medical team to achieve accurate results
• Position patients properly and calibrate imaging equipment to enhance image quality
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols for both patients and colleagues
• Keep comprehensive records, including imaging logs and equipment upkeep
• Deliver empathetic patient care throughout the entire imaging process
• Assist in maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient imaging environment

Qualifications and Education

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is required; a Bachelor's Degree is advantageous
• Completion of an accredited radiology program

Essential Certifications

• ARRT certification in CT or Radiography
• Current BLS certification or the ability to acquire it within 90 days of starting

Desirable Skills

• In-depth knowledge of diagnostic imaging procedures and safety regulations
• Exceptional communication abilities with patients and team members
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting demands
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility
• Familiarity with PACS, RIS, and modern imaging technologies
