Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistant for opportunities in the Springfield, MO area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic healthcare environment, delivering high-quality patient care in our state-of-the-art centers.
Urgent care Advanced Practitioners (Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner) provide a wide variety of clinical services including treatment of acute episodic conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu-like symptoms, cuts, sprains and minor infections. Functioning in lieu of or alongside of a physician, it is essential for an urgent care Advanced Practitioner to have excellent assessment skills in order to recognize more serious conditions and direct the patient to the emergency room for advanced care when necessary.
Competitive Salary & hourly rates plus:
  • Daily Volume Bonus: This bonus is paid monthly and based on patient visit metrics met per shift - to reward you on those busier days!
  • Quarterly Bonus: Earn up to 5% of your clinical base salary, based upon customer satisfaction scores and quality measures.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree required for Physician Assistants
  • Master's Degree required for Nurse Practitioners
  • 2-5 years of post-residency clinical experience required
  • Minimum 18 months experience in applicable practice setting required
  • Adult and pediatric practice experience strongly preferred
  • National Certification • Active state medical licensure (ANNC or AANP)
  • Work experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Room setting
  • Applicable office procedures including but not limited to suturing, splinting, etc.
