Rad Tech Student - Radiology

Part-time (20 weekly hours), second shift

Job Description:

Provides health care services applying pulsed x-ray energy to assist diagnosis or treatment. Performs radiographic procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by or at the request of a licensed independent practitioner. Exercises professional judgment in performance of service and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics. Recognizes various patient conditions in order to provide appropriate patient care to ensure successful completion of the exam or procedure. All under the guidance of a Registered Radiologic Technologist.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Must be currently enrolled in a radiologic technology program accredited by the American Medical Association (AMA).

Active student license through the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy.
