Job description

Pediatric Cath Lab Rad Tech

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift: 07:00 - 15:30

The Pediatric Cath Lab Rad Tech is responsible for performing imaging procedures in a Level I Trauma Pediatric Cath Lab. The ideal candidate will have experience with pediatric and adult transplant-related procedures including right/left biopsies, balloon inflations, stent placements, and valve placements.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic catheterizations for both pediatric and adult patients.
  • Participate in balloon, stent, and valve placement procedures.
  • Support interventional radiology procedures, preferably for pediatric patients.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, including radiation safety.
  • Be available for on-call shifts as required by the facility.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a pediatric or adult cath lab environment.
  • PALS, BLS, and ACLS certifications required (American Heart Association accepted).
  • Preferred certifications include CCI with RCIS/RCES; ARRT (R) with SCRQSA (R) accepted.
  • Current South Carolina RN License preferred, or proof of application for licensure.
