ARRT Radiologic Technologist

Shift: Days, 8:30 am - 5 pm
Overview: MLee Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiologic Technologist to join a compassionate healthcare team in South Vermont. As a Radiologic Technologist, perform routine Radiographic examinations. Your expertise will contribute to accurate diagnosis and treatment planning, ensuring the well-being and satisfaction of our patients.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays, CT scans, and fluoroscopy as ordered by physicians.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Position patients correctly and use radiation protection measures to minimize radiation exposure.
  • Operate and maintain radiologic equipment, ensuring functionality and safety standards.
  • Evaluate images for quality and clarity, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting of findings.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to review images and assist in patient diagnosis.
  • Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Adhere to regulatory standards, safety protocols, and departmental policies.
Rad Tech Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • ARRT (R) board certification required OR completion of coursework from an accredited Radiology program establishing eligibility to sit for ARRT (R) board certification required
  • Prior hands-on clinical radiology experience in a hospital setting required
  • Valid Vermont State Office of Professional Regulation Radiography license required.
