Weekend Diagnostic Rad Tech/ X-Ray Tech
Position: Part-Time, Night Shift (1830 - 0700 Saturday and Sunday)
Employment Bonus Eligible for Qualified Candidates
Baptist Health Louisville is seeking a full time Radiology Tech. Under the direction of the Diagnostic Team Leader and with minimal supervision, the successful candidate will perform diagnostic exams in the department, surgery, or at the bedside. This role requires producing high-quality images for radiologist review, maintaining accurate records, and completing quality control (QC) on equipment to ensure optimal operation. Responsibilities include verifying patient identity and orders, adhering to departmental protocols, monitoring patient safety throughout exams, and applying radiation protection measures. The candidate will assist radiologists when needed and manage supplies and equipment maintenance reporting. Proficiency with EPIC and IMPAX systems is essential to complete and manage studies effectively. In addition to technical duties, this role involves upholding Baptist Health's Core Values-Integrity, Respect, Compassion, Excellence, Collaboration, and Joy-while supporting the organization's commitments, stewardship, and culture of safety. The position plays a key part in achieving department and organizational goals aligned with Baptist Health's strategic pillars. Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
Active KBMIRT at time of hire. ARRT within 90 days of hire.
BCLS certified within 90 days of hire.
