Radiology Technologist - R.T.(R)ARRT - Eureka, CA
Location: Eureka, California
Schedule: Full-Time
Shifts: Multiple shifts available
Virtus Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated Radiology Technologist - R.T.(R)ARRT to join a dynamic hospital-based imaging team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative clinical environment that values patient care, advanced imaging services, and professional excellence. The technologist will support diagnostic imaging services across multiple hospital departments, ensuring safe, accurate, and high-quality patient care.
Position Summary
The Radiology Technologist will perform diagnostic radiologic procedures in accordance with established standards, policies, and protocols. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a hospital-based environment, values patient-centered care, and seeks an opportunity to expand their skills in a supportive clinical setting.
Core Responsibilities
  • Perform a wide variety of diagnostic radiographic procedures with precision and accuracy.
  • Ensure proper patient positioning, safety, and comfort during imaging studies.
  • Operate and maintain radiologic equipment according to safety standards.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and fellow imaging staff to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and comply with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Graduate of a program in radiologic technology approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education & Accreditation of the American Medical Association.
  • California Radiologic Technologist license (upon hire).
  • National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (upon hire).
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association (upon hire).
  • Preferred: Previous experience as a hospital-based radiographer.
