Job description

Fugate Ford in Enumclaw, WA is seeking a motivated Automotive Lube Technician to join our service department. Whether you’re new to the industry or seasoned in vehicle maintenance, this is the opportunity for you. What You'll Do:

  • Carry out essential maintenance services such as oil and filter changes and tire rotations 
  • Check and replenish vehicle fluids including engine oil, coolant, brake fluid, and transmission fluid 
  • Assess belts, hoses, tires, and other components for signs of wear, damage, or needed attention 
  • Conduct detailed multi-point inspections and log all findings with accuracy 
  • Communicate service recommendations and additional repair needs to advisors promptly 
  • Keep thorough, clear records of every service completed 
  • Coordinate with the service team to maintain an efficient, on-time service lane 
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and keep your work area clean and orderly 
  • Pursue ongoing development in automotive maintenance techniques and procedures 

What We're Looking For 

  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • Background in lube services or general automotive maintenance preferred 
  • Working knowledge of standard vehicle systems and upkeep procedures 
  • Hands-on experience with basic shop tools and equipment 
  • Detail-oriented with solid time management in a high-volume environment 
  • Strong communicator who collaborates well with coworkers and engages customers professionally 
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain active throughout a full shift 
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
