Job description

We’re looking for an experienced auto lube technician who is ready to give our service customers an excellent experience. You must be able to rotate tires, change light bulbs, change oil and other fluids, and perform other general maintenance duties to be successful in this position. Although not required for this role, having knowledge of the inner workings of various car models is helpful. We prefer that you have prior experience working as an automotive or lube technician. Responsibilities:
  • Keep detailed records of all repairs made and components replaced
  • Maintain shop inventory by recording oil and parts usage and reordering supplies when needed
  • Perform oil changes and fluid checks on customer vehicles, including draining and replacing engine oil, checking and filling transmission, brake, power steering, and coolant fluids
  • Check tire pressure and tread depth, and lubricate chassis components
  • Advise customers on additional recommended services based on mileage and vehicle history
  • Perform accurate digital vehicle inspections, highlighting the good and areas of needed service or repair

Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of experience as a lube technician or related automotive experience desired
  • Must be capable of safely using tools, car lifts, and other garage equipment
  • Able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • This position requires excellent customer service skills
