Lube Technician – J.C. Lewis Motor Co. (Hinesville, GA)
Pay: $21.00 Flat Rate Hourly

Are you a skilled lube technician with a passion for automobiles? Do you enjoy working in a dynamic environment with a team dedicated to delivering exceptional service? If so, J.C. Lewis Motor Co. is seeking a qualified Lube Technician to join our service team in Hinesville, GA!

Position Overview

As a Lube Technician, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance and care of our customers' vehicles. This entry-level position is ideal for someone with experience in automotive maintenance who is eager to grow in a fast-paced and supportive environment. You will be responsible for oil changes, tire rotations, and other basic vehicle maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has a strong work ethic, and is committed to delivering high-quality service.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks

  • Inspect vehicles for additional service needs and communicate findings to service advisors

  • Ensure all work is completed efficiently and accurately

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines

  • Assist other technicians and service personnel as needed

  • Stay current with industry trends and training

Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Lube Technician or similar role preferred

  • Entry-level friendly – willingness to learn and grow

  • Must have tools required to perform services

  • Ability to lift and install tires

  • Basic knowledge of automotive systems and components

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Team player with good communication skills

  • Must be 19 years of age or older

  • Must have a valid driver's license and ability to pass an MVR/background check

Education and Certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Technical or vocational training a plus

  • ASE or similar certification is a bonus
