Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Inspect, maintain, and repair equipment, machinery, or systems.
  • Heavy equipment operation if needed.
  • Keep detailed records of maintenance and repairs.
  • Monitoring and adjusting production processes.
  • Performing routine maintenance on machinery.
  • Troubleshooting issues as they arise.
  • Communicating with other team members to ensure a smooth workflow.
  • Able to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
  • Diagnose and fix mechanical problems quickly and efficiently.
  • Maintain quarry organization.
Qualifications:
  • Experienced fixed plant mechanic, certified welder, understands crushing/screening/power transmission.
  • 2+ years’ experience in a Rock Quarry Plant preferred.
  • Must be able to follow safety procedures and work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Attention to detail.
  • The ability to work well in a team.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols
Education and Experience:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; Previous MSHA training is a plus.
