 Join a Team That Builds Southwest FloridaContinental Infrastructure Group (CIG) is seeking a dependable, safety-focused Mine Wash Plant Operator to join our Aggregate Operations team. If you enjoy working outdoors, operating, and maintaining equipment, and take pride in keeping production running safely and efficiently, we’d like to hear from you.
As a Mine Wash Plant Operator, you’ll play a critical role in producing high-quality aggregate materials by monitoring plant operations, performing preventative maintenance, and supporting daily production. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with mining, quarry, aggregate, or industrial plant experience who is looking to build a long-term career with a growing company.What You’ll Do
  • Monitor the wash plant to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous operation.
  • Perform plant start-up and shutdown procedures.
  • Monitor material flow and product quality to meet production standards.
  • Perform daily preventative maintenance, inspections, lubrication, and minor repairs.
  • Operate loaders, skid steers, or other small equipment (when qualified).
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Identify and report equipment issues before they impact production.
  • Follow all company safety policies and MSHA regulations.
  • Work closely with the Mine Operations team to maximize plant uptime and productivity.
What We’re Looking For
  • At least one year of aggregate mining, quarry, wash plant, or similar industrial plant experience.
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform basic preventative maintenance.
  • Experience operating loaders, skid steers, forklifts, or similar equipment preferred.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to safety.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding work.
  • Willingness to work overtime, Saturdays, and extended hours as production demands.
