Job description

Capital Materials is seeking a Skid Steer Operator to join our team at our Linn Creek, Missouri quarry. This position plays a key role in supporting daily quarry operations, including material handling, site cleanup, and production support.


What You’ll Do:
  • Operate a skid steer and other light-to-medium equipment safely and efficiently in a quarry environment
  • Load, move, and stockpile aggregate materials such as rock, sand, and gravel
  • Assist with site cleanup, plant support, and general quarry operations
  • Perform routine equipment inspections, maintenance, and cleaning to ensure safe operation
  • Communicate with supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals
  • Operate small equipment and tools such as jackhammers, tampers, and other power tools
  • Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and other manual equipment
  • Follow all MSHA and company safety requirements at all times
  • Perform general labor duties as needed and assist other team members
  • Adapt to changing job responsibilities and support other tasks as assigned

What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience operating skid steer, loader, or similar heavy equipment preferred
  • Quarry, construction, or aggregate industry experience a plus
  • Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
  • Reliable, punctual, and dependable with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.)

Schedule & Requirements:
  • Full-time position
