  • Provide hands-on support for prototype hardware and software systems, including troubleshooting, maintenance coordination, and ensuring that systems are ready to use
  • Conduct rapid prototyping of hardware and software systems alongside QSAI engineers to support testing, validation, and execution of projects.
  • Support driving simulator setup, configuration, and test execution, partnering with QSAI engineering and research teams on studies and testing activities.
  • Produce clear, maintainable documentation and presentations for internal use, and when applicable, for customer review.
  • Engage directly with Ford collaborators and QSAI leadership to identify project constraints, understand priorities, and gather feedback that shapes the project direction.
  • Report to and coordinate with QSAI leadership on project priorities, progress, and resource needs.
  • Identify opportunities to expand your role based on your skills and growth interests, in coordination with QSAI leadership and project teams.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in engineering or a similar technical field
  • Ability to execute against multiple projects in an iterative/agile framework while managing competing deadlines
  • Hobby, school, or professional experience in any of the following areas
  • Mechanical, electrical, software, and integrated systems
  • IT systems administration, networking, and information security practices
  • Development and data operations
  • Strong communication skills and a proven ability to build collaborative relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with analysis tools such as Excel, Python, MATLAB, etc.
  • Values peer review and continuous improvement and understands when you need help/feedback
  • Curiosity, a growth mindset, and passion for learning new concepts and technologies

Bonus Points For:
