Job Summary:
Masimo Wearables is focused on the design and creation of next-generation health monitoring devices. The AI/Machine Learning Engineer II will analyze data from various sources to develop computational models for disease diagnosis and prediction of critical events.
Responsibilities:
• Design and develop AI and ML models to solve complex problems
• Design, train and evaluate machine learning models using large datasets
• Contribute to the organization’s strong drive to be on the cutting edge of technology through the generation of patentable ideas
• Effectively communicate with engineering and marketing teams
• Delivering high quality software design, documentation and implementation
Qualifications:
Required:
• Experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning and/or deep learning within the medical device industry
• Experience with machine learning libraries and modern frameworks such as Tensorflow, Keras, Pytorch, scikit-learn, etc.
• Experience with Python, Matlab and C++
• Hands-on experience of development to solve problems such as: regression, classification, clustering, dimensionality reduction, structured output and anomaly detection
• M.S./Ph.D. degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering/Computer Science
Preferred:
• Experience in applying AI/ML to biomedical data
• Experience with computer vision and/or robotics
• Experience with databases and their tools
