Quantinuum is seeking an ambitious, tech-minded Sales Development Representative (SDR) to drive top-of-funnel growth across our focus enterprise verticals. In this frontline role, you will be responsible for identifying, initiating, and qualifying outbound and inbound interest with R&D leaders, innovation teams, and executives at Global 2000 organizations.
You will learn to articulate Quantinuum's core offerings, spanning quantum hardware access, enterprise software tools, and collaborative co-development projects, and convert initial interest into qualified discovery meetings for our Enterprise Sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
โ€ข Execute targeted outbound campaigns (email, phone, LinkedIn) to engage key roles (Heads of R&D, Innovation Leads, VPs of Tech, CTOs) within Chemicals & Materials, Pharma, Finance, and Industrial verticals.
โ€ข Map account structures within target enterprise organizations to identify key decision-makers and technical champions.
โ€ข Manage inbound inquiries, qualifying leads against predefined criteria before scheduling discovery calls.
โ€ข Conduct initial qualification calls to understand prospective clients' current computational challenges, quantum readiness, and business objectives.
โ€ข Maintain clean account, lead, and activity data within CRM and outbound enablement platforms.
โ€ข Partner closely with Strategic Account Executives to align on target account strategies and execute Account-Based Marketing pushes.
โ€ข Work alongside Quantum Applications Engineers and Solutions Architects to prepare appropriate context and pre-meeting intel before handing off qualified leads.
Qualifications & Experience:
โ€ข 3-5 years of tech sales development or business development experience (SDR/BDR) in quantum computing, enterprise software (SaaS/PaaS), high-performance computing, deep tech, or scientific software.
โ€ข Curiosity and ability to quickly grasp deep tech concepts (e.g., computational chemistry, optimization, simulation, or quantum computing) and convey their business relevance.
โ€ข Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; comfortable reaching out to technical leaders and executive decision-makers.
โ€ข Proven track record of cold outreach execution, handling objections, and meeting quota for qualified meetings booked.
Preferred Attributes:
