The STEM Alliance is a Westchester based, dynamic (and quickly growing) non profit organization that aims to resolve STEM related inequities. We do so through three main streams of work:

  1. Digital Equity - Providing devices and resources to members of the community who might not otherwise have access to devices
  2. STEM Education & Equity ย - Providing hands-on, fun, enriching STEM programming to K-12
  3. Summer Enrichment - Our summer programs blend summer fun with all things STEM enrichment.ย

FINANCE INTERN:ย 

What You'll Be Doing: tracking down, categorizing and filing receipts

What You Bring: A passion for accounting and a curiosity to understand the accounting procedures of a nonprofit organization


STEM EDUCATION INTERN:

What You'll Be Doing: Preparing materials for programs, serving as an assistant in programs

What You Bring: A passion for educating the younger generation


DIGITAL EQUITY INTERN:

What You'll Be Doing: Support participant enrollment via our digital platforms, assist clients during classes, assist with device inventory

What You Bring: A passion for providing resources, specifically technology, to underserved communitiesย 


COMMUNICATIONS INTERN:

What You'll Be Doing: assisting with social media postings and strategy, assist with website design and development, assist with press releases, attend events to capture stories and content

What You Bring: A passion for understanding nonprofit marketing and communications


EXECUTIVE INTERN:

What You'll Be Doing: Assist with the Executive Director with preparations of meeting internally and externally, Conduct research and work on specialized projects including taking notes at various meetings and documenting project development, Monitor and track internal workflows, Attend external meetings to represent The STEM Alliance in various stakeholder events and sessions

What You Bring: High level organizational skills with an attention to detail, Problem solving mindset, Interest in understanding how multiple workstream create the synergy needed to fulfill a nonprofit's visionย 


RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT INTERN:

What You'll Be Doing: Assist with the development of fundraising appeals/events, Help manage donor relationships, clean-up of databases
