Position Overview:

The ideal candidate for this position is a recent college graduate, or someone looking to begin a new career path. You will act as the Category Manager's main support, so you will be involved in all administrative aspects of managing the business. The Category Managers are responsible for the overall vision and strategy of their departments, including product assortment, pricing, Marketing, product life cycle, etc.

Essential Functions:

  • Supports the Category Manager by organizing and executing administrative tasks on daily basis including New Product Information Sheets, Maintenance Request Forms, Categorizing and re-categorizing products on Power BI.

  • Assists with vendor document conversion, pricing analysis and preparation of vendor price files

  • Meeting Prep (seasonal): Run monthly, weekly, and ad hoc sales reporting from our Power BI system (pre-existing knowledge of Power BI is not necessary, but helpful)

  • Maintain detailed notes for collaborative meetings with vendors, including managing the Team project list, and tracking next steps required to meet deliverables

  • Key liaison with the Marketing, Purchasing and Data teams, ensuring vendor ads, pricelists, and maintenance requests are timely and appropriate, and proofed by Category Manager

  • Manage new item setup and item system maintenance, with direction from Category Manager

  • Responsible for system data integrity, including digital assets for the website

  • Manage work-flow of vendor paperwork: Marketing, Trade Shows, Vendor Data Sheets

  • Assist with show book preparation (seasonal)

  • Other ad-hoc duties

Required Qualifications:

  • Expert level in Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Excel)

  • Expert level experience in Excel--pivot tables, VLookup are key functions

  • Multi-tasking ability is essential

  • Be able to keep up in a fast paced business

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills-clear and concise communication is a must

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data (quantitative and qualitative)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate Degree preferred (Business, Supply Chain, Marketing background a plus)

  • Boating/RV experience is a plus

  • Experience Power BI preferred

Working Conditions:

  • Potential for minimal travel (trade shows, etc)

The anticipated pay range for this position is $62,800 to $90,500 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job- related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.

At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate's qualifications and the business context.
