Job description

We are seeking a Quantitative Trader to join our Chicago office. This role focuses on leading quantitative research initiatives, developing predictive models, and directly contributing to trading strategy design and execution.
This individual will play a meaningful role in driving trading performance through research, automation, and systematic improvement.
Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain predictive models and trading strategies
  • Conduct independent quantitative research to generate actionable trading insights
  • Develop and enhance automated trading systems
  • Evaluate model performance and drive iterative improvements
  • Collaborate with traders and developers to improve execution quality, automation, and system reliability
  • Take ownership of operational and production workflows supporting live trading
  • Work evenings and weekends during active sports schedules
Required Skills
  • 2–5+ years of experience in quantitative research, trading, or related analytical roles
  • Strong proficiency in R, Python, and/or SQL
  • Solid foundation in regression, statistical modeling, and applied quantitative methods
  • Experience working with large datasets and production systems
  • Ability to independently scope and execute research initiatives
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends aligned with sports schedules
Nice to Have
  • Experience in sports analytics or trading
  • Deep knowledge of major sports and betting markets
  • Experience working with real-time or market data (financial, crypto, or sports)
