Job description

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Analyze banking transaction and customer data to develop problem statements and summarize findings related to performance metrics, trends, and opportunities. Pinpoint risk indicators, craft strategic metrics and reports, and identify new analytical areas to enhance business and product strategies. Create mathematical models to address problems, define necessary variables, and evaluate constraints, conflicting objectives, and their numerical parameters. Discover, assess, and utilize internal data sources to conduct data analysis and extract insights. Transform data into actionable information to enhance the product landscape and business policies. Execute data manipulation, cleaning, and visualization. Assist in the preparation of various monthly and quarterly presentations for the business line. Guide product managers on the implications of different customer-impacting actions needed to resolve business challenges. Conduct descriptive and exploratory analysis on datasets from multiple sources to extract insights. Work with senior management and product managers to clarify business needs and connect analysis results to business issues affecting customers. Carry out ad hoc analysis to address business inquiries. Create and maintain detailed documentation of processes and programs to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards. Identify opportunities with Al and Large Language Models to improve processes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Quant Analytics Associate, Cloud and Data Analyst, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Quant Analytics Associate, Cloud and Data Analyst, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: Conducting descriptive and exploratory data analysis and cleaning and preparing structured and unstructured datasets; Executing data quality and validation checks and delivering analytical reports for business objectives; Visualizing data and creating dashboards using Tableau to support business reviews and presentations.
