Job description

Job Title: ServiceNow QA/Test Engineer

Location: Columbus, OH (Onsite – 5 Days/Week)
Duration: 6+ Months
 

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow QA/Test Engineer to support the quality assurance efforts for a large-scale ServiceNow platform implementation. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ServiceNow testing, including Automated Test Framework (ATF), manual testing, regression testing, and Agile methodologies. This role requires working onsite in Columbus, OH, five days a week.

 Key Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and detailed test cases for ServiceNow applications.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using the ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).
  • Perform manual functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing for new features, enhancements, and platform upgrades.
  • Validate ServiceNow configurations to ensure compliance with security and data privacy standards.
  • Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects through resolution.
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, and business analysts to troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test scripts and assisting business users during testing.
  • Execute performance and load testing to ensure platform stability and responsiveness.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
  • Maintain detailed testing documentation and provide regular status updates.
 Required Qualifications
  • 4+ years of Software Quality Assurance (QA) experience.
  • Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience testing ServiceNow applications.
  • Strong experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).
  • Experience testing ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, CSM, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira or ServiceNow Test Management.
  • Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work onsite in Columbus, OH, five days per week.
 Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working on State, Federal, or Public Sector projects.
  • Knowledge of security testing, compliance standards, and accessibility (Section 508).
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
  • ISTQB Certified Tester certification.
